How to Convert an MP2 to a WAV Format

When your audio and music is split between many sound formats it may become confusing. In this case you may want to convert between formats so that they share a universal format. Alternatively if you are trying to use a file with a particular program then you may encounter difficulty with compatibility. You can convert between MP2 and the WAV format using a variety of audio converters. There are a lot of audio converters on the Internet that contain spyware, but the following three freeware applications are all safe to use.
  • BeLight

      Download BeLight.

      Right-click the downloaded zip archive. Click "Extract."

      Double-click "BeLight."

      Click "Input." Locate your MP2. Double-click it.

      Click "WAV/PCM" and click "Stereo." Click "Start." Once finished you will have converted MP2 to WAV.

      Right-click the downloaded zip archive. Click "Extract."

      Double-click "BeSweetGUI."

      Click the folder icon next to "BeSweet.exe." Navigate to your download directory and then the extracted folder. Double-click "BeSweet.exe."

      Click the "Input" folder." Locate your MP2. Double-click it.

      Click the "Output Format" drop-down menu and select "WAV."

      Click "MP2 to WAV."

      Download DAudioK. Double-click the downloaded installer. Complete the onscreen setup.

      Launch DAudioK from the Start menu.

      Click the "Output Format" drop-down menu and select "WAV."
