How to Delete Everything Out of a Palm Texas

Deleting everything on a Palm TX, or Palm Texas as it is commonly referred, can be a great way to start fresh. Some PDAs like the Palm Texas are susceptible to viruses. Resetting the device might be the only recourse. If you intend to sell your Palm Texas, it might be necessary to reset the device in order to protect personal information. The Palm Texas is equipped with a button on the back of the device that helps with resetting.

  Press and hold the "Power" button. The button is located on the top of the device.

  Press and release the "Reset" button inside the hole on the back of your device. The button will be labeled. It will be necessary to use a stylus or other pointed object to reach the button inside the hole.

  Release the "Power" button when you see a gray circular "Palm Powered" logo. You might see several screens come up before this point. It is important to continue to hold the "Power" button until you see the logo.

  Press "Up" when a warning appears. The warning will inform you that you are about to reset your device. By pressing the "Up" button, you are confirming your intent to use the reset function.
