How to Disable a Mobile
Disabling your mobile phone if it gets stolen is a good way to protect any personal information you may have on the phone. In order to disable a phone, you need to know the International Mobile Equipment Identity number of the device so that you can prove to your mobile carrier that it is your phone. Though this may not help if your phone is stolen before you are able to look up the IMEI number, if you still have your phone, it is a good idea to prepare just in case it is stolen.
