How to Make a Wooden Pocket Knife

Wooden pocket knives are handy tools for campers or for people who simply love to work or hang out outdoors. They're not as reliable as steel knives, but there are many uses for wooden pocket knives. You do not need to go out and buy a wooden pocket knife in stores. You can create your wooden pocket knife out of a few simple materials. In a few minutes, you can come up with a handy device that you can use for outdoor activities.
    • 1

Cut the edge of one of the sticks using your scissors to create the knife's sharp edge.

    • 2

Use your hand drill to drill small holes on the stick's uncut end, and do the same for the ends of the two other sticks.

    • 3

Insert the paper fastener into the holes of the three sticks and fasten them together. The pointed stick should be placed in the middle of the two other sticks. The fastened portion of all sticks will serve as the bottom part of your wooden pocket knife.

Use your other paper fastener to fasten the two other sticks at either sides of the pointed one. Hold the sharp edges of your paper fastener and turn them under or at the back of the device. Your pointed stick will now be able to swing more freely.
