How to Remove the Rotors From a 1990 Ford Ranger
Every time you change the brake pads, you must carefully inspect the brake rotors on the Ford Ranger. Check the surface for cracking, grooves and other damage that may make them ineffective. Damaged brake rotors can also ruin a new set of brake pads. It is not difficult to remove the rotors from the Ranger. It is just one additional step beyond removing the brake pads for replacement. You can get each wheel done in about 30 minutes.
