Windows Check Disk : "Chkdsk"

Click the "Start" button, then click "Computer."

Right-click the computer's primary hard drive, which is the "C:/" drive. Click "Properties."

Click "Check now" under the "Tools" tab.

Click the "Automatically fix file system errors" box and click "Start."
System Restore

Click the "Start" button.

Navigate to "All Programs," then "Accessories," then "System Tools." Click on "System Restore."

Click "Choose a different restore point." This option will allow you to select a restore date. Click the "Next" button.

Select a date on the screen by left-clicking on it. Be sure to select a date when the MT3422 was still working properly. Click "Next."

Click "Finish" on the next screen. Click "Yes" on the following screen to confirm that you want to use this restore point. Once "Yes" is clicked, the MT3422 will restart using the settings you selected.
Disk Cleanup

Click "Start." Move to "All Programs," then "Accessories." Go to "System Tools" and click "Disk Cleanup."

Click the option to clean up all files. This will remove all unnecessary files from all user accounts.

Select the "C:/" drive, the MT3422's primary hard drive. Click "OK."

Click the "Disk Cleanup" tab and check all the boxes to remove all of the files Click "OK."

Click "Delete files" to delete the files you selected.
Disk Defragmenter

Click the "Start" button.

Scroll to "All Programs." Click "Accessories," then "System Tools," then "Disk Defragmenter" to open the program.

Click "Defragment Now" to defragment the MT3422.
