Morpheus Won't Connect

Morpheus is a peer-to-peer (P2P) network file-sharing program that allows users to upload and download files from other people on the network. If your Morpheus program will not connect through your Internet connection, you are probably getting hung up through the Windows Firewall. The Windows Firewall blocks P2P file-sharing programs because of the potential for virus infection. You need to add your Morpheus program to the firewall as an exception to get it working properly.

  Click the "Start" button and then click on the "Control Panel."

  Click on the "Security" icon and then click on the "Windows Firewall" icon.

  Click on the "Allow a program through Windows Firewall" button and then enter your administrator password.

  Click on the "Morpheus" icon in the window that appears and click "OK."

  Open Morpheus and wait for it to connect.
