Singles Clubs in Springfield, Missouri

    • Known as "The Cultural Center of the Ozarks" and "The Birthplace of Route 66," Springfield is located in the southwest portion of Missouri and is the state's third largest city. Springfield's historic downtown area experienced a regeneration throughout the 2000s. Many old buildings are now lofts, offices spaces, bars, boutiques and performance spaces and clubs cater to the needs of singles living in the area.

    Ridgecrest Baptist

    • The Singles Ministry at Ridgecrest Baptist Church provides Christ-focused outreach to single adults of all ages: from college age through 70s. This outreach offers guidance on the challenges and victories of being single. It offers weekly meetings for specific age groups on Sundays and throughout the week. They also offer retreats and special events.

    Solo Swingers Square Dance

    • The Solo Swingers Square Dance Club meets every third Saturday of the month from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Northview Center, 301 East Talmage Street. Guests do not need a partner, and the club welcomes single people.

      According to the contact, Ann Cook, the fee is $6 per person for a local caller or $7 per person for a national caller. For November and December 2010, there is no fee and the clubs runs a dinner dance on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This begins at 6:45 p.m. and the dancing starts at 7:30 p.m.

    Equally Yoked

    • Equally Yoked is a social club that focuses on the needs of Christian singles. It has local clubs throughout the United States and the world. People join for the Christian fellowship found through networking, personal wellness, workshops and special events. Equally Yoked holds an annual Christian Cruise and offers a free email newsletter.
