2009 GMC Denali Performance

    • Sold as the regular length GMC Yukon Denali or the extended length Yukon XL Denali, this model is powered by a 6.2 L V-8 engine, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. This engine is rated at 403 horsepower and 417 foot-pounds of torque. Available in two- and four-wheel-drive, this model has a payload rating of 1,601 lbs. in two-wheel-drive and 1,610 lbs. in four-wheel-drive. The maximum towing rating for the Yukon Denali is 8,300 lbs. or 7,900 lbs. with the XL Denali.

    Yukon Denali Hybrid

    • Powered by a 6.0 L V-8 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, this model also runs on supplemental electric power making it a hybrid vehicle. The gas engine is rated at 332 horsepower and 367 foot-pounds of torque. Maximum payload rating is 1,404 lbs.; maximum tow rating is 6,000 lbs.

    Fuel Economy

    • The 6.2 L V-8 engine is rated at 14 mpg city, 20 mpg highway. The hybrid model is rated at 21 mpg city, 22 mpg highway.
