Does My Chase Visa Offer a Buyer Protection Plan?

Purchase protection is the equivalent of an insurance policy that protects your purchases in cases of breakage, warranty coverage or even buyer's remorse. The coverage is given standard on some Chase Visa cards but can be purchased from an outside vendor to cover any card.
  • Chase Visa Platinum Business Card

    • The Chase Visa Platinum Business Card is primarily designed for the small business owner with a credit line up to $35,000. The card features a purchase protection plan that allows purchases to be returned for any reason within 90 days of transaction. The card also features a best price guarantee, which means that if you make a purchase and then find the same item advertised in print for a lower price within 60 days, you may file a claim for the difference with Chase Visa.

    Chase Sapphire Travel Credit Card

    • Along with a host of travel benefits like trip cancellation insurance and lost luggage reimbursement, the Chase Sapphire Travel Credit Card from Visa features identity theft protection, zero liability on fraudulent purchases, purchase protection for 90 days, extended warranty protection for an additional year, price protection within 90 days and return protection within 90 days.

    Purchase Protection Premier

    • Purchase Protection Premier is a third-party pay-as-you-go agreement that provides cardholders with purchase protection coverage on any type or brand of credit card. The coverage consists of warranty and receipt registration, a repair or replacement plan, price protection, theft and damage protection, a return guarantee and recall service for a fee of $7.99 per month, as of November 2010.
