DVD to PDA Converters

An acronym for personal digital assistant, a PDA is a handheld device that operates as a portable computer. Users can encode a DVD video into a PDA-compatible format with the aid of a file conversion application. When media is published onto DVD, video streams are stored as VOB files. Since VOB files are encoded with an MPEG-2 codec, they can be opened and circulated as easily as any other type of digital video. Users can access a DVD's VOB files by opening the disc's file directory and accessing the VIDEO_TS folder.
