The number of flowers in the world is so vast and many of their names are so complicated that sometimes you need a way to remember them. Looking them up by alphabetical order is a good way to find the name of a flower. If you can't recall the full name of a flower, you might be able to locate it by remembering the first letter.
Nerine

Nerine is a plant that belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family. Its 24 species are mostly native to South America, but they have been widely cultivated and hybridized to the point they can now be found throughout the world. They grow from bulbs and produce a cluster of up to a dozen flowers that are pink on their tops. Most of the species bloom in the late summer and autumn. They are usually displayed as cut flowers, and stay fresh for a longer period than many other flowers. They are considered one of the most attractive of the fall flowers.

Nolana, often referred to as the Chilean Bellflower, is a genus of annual and perennial plants
called Solanaceae-Nolaneae and is in the Nightshade family. It has more than 85 species and is native to the coastal areas of Peru and Chile. Nolana forms spreading clumps that are 6 inches to 1 foot in height. The leaves of Novana grow up to 2 inches. The plant forms five flowers that are 2 inches across and have a bell shape. The flowers are either light or dark blue, or sometimes white. The plants prefer well-drained soil and sunny spots. The many synonyms for Nolana include Alibrexia, Aplocarya, Bargemontia, Tula, Walberia and Zwingera.
Nandina

Nandina is a shrub in the Berberidaceae family. It is the only member of its genus and is native to eastern Asia. Commonly referred to as Heavenly Bamboo because of the appearance of its leaves, it is actually not bamboo at all. It produces colorful foliage and flowers along with autumn berries. Often found in Japanese gardens, it can be planted in all kinds of terrains and adapts well to full and partial sun. Its new growth is bronze to rose in color. After turning green, it then turns red, orange, bronze and pink in color. It is often found in floral arrangements. Its flower cluster grows to 8 to 12 inches in height.
