How to Beat ESCape Prologue

"ESCape Prologue" is a viral flash game noted for its simplistic graphics and thought-provoking puzzles. In the game, players must figure out how to escape the level using objects such as ropes, computers, hammers, explosives and more. The "W," "A," "S" and "D" keys are used to walk around, and the spacebar or the "Ctrl" key are used to select items.

  Walk to the right and pass through the door, over the sledgehammer. Return to the original room and walk through the left door, over the rope. Walking over items automatically picks them up.

  Press the spacebar on the dresser to take the matches. Return to the original room with the stairs. Select the sledgehammer with the arrow keys and press the spacebar on the left wall to smash it. Take the hammer.

  Walk through the right door and press the spacebar on the box to get the wooden planks. Return to the original room with the stairs. Select the hammer and press the spacebar to open the window. Select the wooden planks to climb down the window.

  Walk to the left and through the door, over the rake. Return right to the window. Select the rake and the rope to climb back up the window into the original room. Walk through the right door, to the table, and over the sheet of paper, which contains a username and password ("qazwerty" and "zxcvbnm," respectively).

  Return to the original room with the stairs. Go left and type in the username and password into the computer. Click "safeinfo.text" for additional information. Turn off the computer.

  Walk right until you reach the television and check the date. The date is July 15, 2020. Walk all the way left until you reach the painting. Type in the date when prompted for a password in year, month and date format ("20200715"). Take the explosives.

  Return all the way to the right where the television is. Select the explosives on the door and run left. Escape the building.
