Using Chain-Breaker
- 1
Park your motorcycle on a level, paved surface.
- 2
Move to the motorcycle's rear sprocket. Choose a link on the back of the sprocket. This is where you will mount the chain-breaker.
- 3
Slide the chain-breaker over one of the link pins on the chain. The chain-breaker looks like a "C-clamp" with a hollow end. Grasp the handles on the chain-breaker. Hold the chain-breaker stationary, with the handle on the body. Turn the handle on the threaded part of the chain-breaker to push the link pin into the hollow end of the breaker. Push the pin all the way out of the chain. If you have a "mini" chain-breaker without handles, hold the body with pliers and turn the threaded part with a wrench.
