Launch K3B from the main KDE menu.

Select the type of CD you want to create from the lower window pane of the main menu screen. Your options will be "New Data CD Project," "New Audio CD Project," or "Copy CD."

Navigate your hard drive using the upper window pane. Find the files you want to burn to a CD, then drag and drop them into the lower window pane. You can also select the files by clicking the "+" button and adding them to the CD. If you chose the "Copy CD" option, select the disk image or CD you wish to copy.

Insert a blank, unformatted CD-R into your CD-RW drive, then click "Burn" in the lower-right corner of the K3B window.

How to Burn CDs With a PClinuxOS Live CD
If you use the default KDE version of PCLinuxOS Live CD, you will have the K3B disk authoring application already installed. K3B is a versatile application with a suite of features and allows you to burn CDs without any complications.
