How to Clamp a Stuhrling Watch Band

Many Stuhrling watches that have a leather or metal watchband have a deployment clasp. A deployment clasp, also referred to as a deployant clasp, is the buckle or clasp that connects the two ends of a watchband. Once you put on the watch, you need to clamp or close the clasp to secure the watch to the wrist. In order to remove the watch, you have to open the clasp.
    • 1

Place the Stuhrling watch band over your wrist.

    • 2

Fold both ends of the watch band inward, until they lock onto the clasp.

    • 3

Tuck the excess strap through the buckle or strap holder. (This is only for leather watch bands. Metal watch bands do not have the excess strap.)

    • 4

Remove the strap from the strap holder for removal. Press the deployment clasp unlock buttons inward. The buttons are located on either side of the clasp. Fold both sides of the watch buckles outward, so the deployment clasp expands.
