How to Convert KML to GPX

KML files are used by software such as Google Earth or Maps to mark geographical points on a 2D or 3D map. GPX is used by handheld GPS devices to mark points on the Earth. To export a route or a collection of POIs, or points of interest, from Google Earth to a handheld GPS device, you need to convert the KML files to GPX. You can convert these files using free Web-based utilities.
