- 1
Place newspaper over a clear flat surface to protect your working area.
- 2
Spread a generous amount of glitter onto a large paper plate.
- 3
Pour about a tablespoon of craft glue onto a small paper plate.
- 4
Use a small paint brush with stiff flat bristles to paint one side of the box with a thick, even coat of craft glue. Press the glue-covered side of the box into the glitter several times, applying pressure to improve coverage. Don't worry about small areas where the glitter does not adhere; these will be attended to after you have completed the entire box and the glue has dried. Continue this process for all sides of the box except the bottom side of the box.

Shake the box well to remove any loose or excess glitter after the glue has dried. To cover the small areas where the glitter did not stick, take a small round-bristled brush, coat the area with craft glue and shake glitter over the area. Press the glitter into the glue and allow to dry.

How to Create Glitter Gift Boxes
You've just bought a pair of earrings for your best friend and all that's left to do is to wrap your gift. You can present your gift with a glitter gift box, which is a small box decorated with glitter. This is most practical with small boxes that have a top and a bottom, usually about the size of a jewelry gift box.
