How to Disable IE6 Automatic Updates
Internet Explorer 6, or IE6, is a Web browser developed by Microsoft. It was released in 2001, specifically for the release of Windows XP. Campaigns have been launched by Google and several Web content providers to encourage Internet users to upgrade IE6 to the current version (IE8, in 2010). If you still prefer to use IE6, and do not want the program to update automatically, you can disable the automatic update function with a few clicks of the mouse.
