How to Get a Text on an nTelos Phone

NTelos provides local phone, Internet and mobile phone services to customers in Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. You can send and receive text messages on your mobile phone even if you do not subscribe to text messaging services. Text messages incur a per message charge for both sent and received message if no text subscription is in place.

  Subscribe to text messaging through nTelos. You can add text messaging service to your account online or by calling customer service by dialing "611" from your mobile phone.

  Send a text message to your device or have a message sent to your phone.

  Open your text message inbox after you receive the message. You can access your messages by clicking "Menu," then "Messaging" from most phones.
