Peel the papaya before you begin juicing. The peel is the thickest part of the papaya fruit, and some juicers are not strong enough to handle the peel as well as the flesh.

Slice the papaya in half and remove the seeds from the center of the fruit with a large spoon. Discard the seeds, as they might lend a slightly bitter taste to the juice that many people dislike.
