How to Make a Copied Picture As One PDF File

You have a copied picture that you scanned or have saved as the picture file format JPEG or TIFF and want to convert the copied picture into a single PDF file. Saving a copied picture as a PDF can allow you to put the picture onto the Internet as a single file for educational or professional purposes or to use it for advertising for businesses or education institutions.
  • Single Copied Picture

      Import the copied picture file (JPEG or TIFF) into Adobe Photoshop.

      Open Adobe Photoshop. A pop-up will appear. Select "OK" to accept all the preset commands. A new workspace will appear.

      Click the "File" tab and select "Open." A pop-up will appear. Choose the picture file. Click "Open." The picture will appear in a new window.

      Save the file. Click the "File" tab and select "Save As." A pop-up will appear. Name the copied picture. Select "Portable Document Format (PDF)" as the file extension. A pop-up will appear. Click "OK" to accept all the preset commands. Changing any of the commands may alter the file format and save the copied picture as a layered PDF.

    Multiple Copied Pictures

      Open Adobe Photoshop. A pop-up will appear. Select "OK" to keep all the preset commands. A new blank workspace will appear.

      Turn on the "Layers" window. Layers are images on top of one another. The "Layers" window will contain all the imported images.

      Click the "File" tab and select "Open." A pop-up will appear. Choose the picture file. Click "Open."

      Copy the picture and insert the copied picture onto the blank workspace. Click the "Edit" tab and choose "Select All." Click the "Edit" tab and select "Copy."

      Click onto the blank workspace and paste the copied picture onto the workspace. Click the "Edit" tab and select "Paste."

      Adjust the picture size using the Ctrl button and the Alt button. Press the Ctrl button and the Alt button together at the same time while clicking with the left mouse button onto the picture guidelines. Adjust the picture by dragging the mouse to enlarge or shrink the picture.

      Open another copied picture file. Click the "File" tab and select the picture file. Copy and paste the newly opened picture onto the workspace with the first imported picture using the same steps above. This will place the second imported picture as a new layer in the "Layers" window. Repeat the steps to add more copied pictures.

      Flatten the image when all adjustments are finished. Click the "Edit" tab and select "Flatten." Flattening the image will combine all the layers and turn it into one layer.

      Save the flattened file as a PDF. Click the "File" tab and select "Save As." A pop-up will appear. Name the new picture file. Save the file as a "Portable Document Format (PDF)." Click "OK" to accept all the preset commands. Changing any of the commands may change the flattened picture back to a layered picture.
