Purchase wireless surround sound speakers. Wireless speakers help you avoid the trouble of having to mount speaker wires inconspicuously around a room. They cost slightly more than traditional wired speakers, but are much more portable and eliminate a lot of hassle.
- 2
Connect the wireless speaker receiver to the "Audio Out" of the TV's transmitter using an RCA stereo cable. The wireless speaker receiver will now send the same audio feed the TV is getting to the wireless speakers. Since the connection is made using a physical cable no other installation steps or configuration should be required. Simply turn on the wireless receiver and TV's transmitter and the signal will automatically be forwarded.

Position the wireless speakers around the room, paying attention to optimal placement as determined by the owner's manual for those particular speakers. Turn on both units and test the setup.

How to Play Surround Sound Through a Wireless TV
Wireless TVs are, as their name suggests, TVs that receive their input signals through a wireless connection. The TV has an accompanying transmitter that is connected to such input devices as cable and DVD. The TV receives the input signals from the transmitter and shows them on the screen. Surround sound implies that speakers will be positioned around the room, usually in center, front left, front right, rear right, rear left and subwoofer channels. Wireless speakers can be used to keep the theme of a wireless entertainment center.
