How to Remove a Backdoor SDBOT

The backdoor SDBOT Trojan is a malicious program that gets into your computer unknowingly to cause nothing but havoc. The Trojan is considered a high security risk. The Trojan enters your computer through Internet Relay Chat (IRC), logs in and tries to send information through the Internet to remote hackers. Through the remote connection, the hacker can cause all kinds of problems for your computer, as well as other computers on your network. It is imperative to take action immediately to remove this malicious program when detected on your computer.

      Go to "Start," type, "I5Eexplore," find this file, right-click on it, and select "Delete."

      Go to "Start" "Run" and type "regedit" in the "Open" text field, and click "OK." This opens the Registry Editor window.

      Navigate to the following keys:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

      In the right pane, delete any value that refers to the file

      "Config Loadatiorin"="<I5Eexplore.exe>"

      Close out the registry when you are done with it, and restart your computer.
