How to Remove Limelight Networks

Limelight Networks is a content delivery network provider that streams and delivers Internet content for several major companies. In order to view content on a website that Limelight deals with, your computer must have certain files that enable the computer to receive the data. If you no longer want the Limelight files on your computer, you have the option of manually removing them from the hard drive. The process for this differs depending on the type of operating system your computer has.

Windows

  Open the Start menu and click "Control Panel."

  Click "Uninstall a program" from the Control Panel.

  Choose Limelight DLM from the list of programs and click "Uninstall." An uninstallation wizard will pop up to guide you through the rest of the process.

Mac

  Double-click the hard drive icon on the Mac desktop.

  Double-click the "Applications" folder.

• 3

  Click the "Limelight DLM" folder and drag it to the trash can at the bottom of the screen.

  Empty the trash can to permanently remove the files from your computer.
