- 1
Sand down the edges of a razor blade to remove sharp points. This will lessen the chances of scratching the truck.
- 2
Saturate the decals on the truck's windows with an automotive glass cleaner and scrape them off with the sanded razor blade. Use the blade at an angle, and be careful not to scratch the glass. If any glue remains, spray the cleaner again and scrub the areas with a sponge. Once the decals are gone from the windows, it is time to move on to the harder part: removing stickers from paint.
- 3
Attempt to scrape the sticker off the paint with a sanded razor. If the sticker resists, stop and move to the next step.
- 4
Plug a hair dryer into an electrical outlet and turn it on at its lowest setting. Heat the sticker for a couple of seconds, and then scrape the sticker off with a razor blade.
- 5
Apply bug and tar remover to residue clumps, and scrub again with a sponge.
- 6
Wash your truck with car wash soap and water and the sponge.
- 7
Apply car wax. Make sure your truck is in a shaded area. Use the applicator that came with the wax. Rub in a small amount of wax, working on one small section of the truck at a time. Buff off the wax with a clean microfiber towel before moving on to the next small spot.

How to Remove Stickers From Truck
If you're selling your truck, bumper stickers can turn off some buyers. Removing a sticker depends on where it is on the truck and how long the sticker has been there. Generally, stickers on glass are easier to take off. Stickers on paint, however, can become a little more complicated. If the glue is old and if you are not careful, you can pull off the truck's paint with the sticker.
