How to Uninstall Antivir Solution Pro

Antivir Solution Pro is a fraudulent anti-spyware program that presents misleading scan results in order to convince the user to purchase the full version of the program. The program does not protect the user from viruses or spyware, and can be removed with a few steps.

  Open your anti-virus program. Click the "Scan" tab and perform a full system scan. Once finished, close the program.

  Open your anti-virus software once more and click the "Scan" tab or category. If there is an option to schedule a boot-time scan then schedule one. Once scheduled, reboot your computer and allow your computer to boot up via the boot-time anti-virus scanner. The scanner will then perform a full system scan of your computer without booting into Windows. This will ensure that it finds infections that may have been missed in the initial scan due to infections potentially hiding when Windows starts. Once the scanning is complete, reboot your computer and log into Windows.

  Open "ImgBurn" if your anti-virus software does not have a boot-time scanning feature. Insert your blank CD-R into your CD/DVD burner once the program is open and click "Write Files to Disc." Click the Windows Explorer icon and open your download anti-virus rescue program. Click "Write" to begin burning the program to your CD-R.

  Once the burning process is complete, reboot your computer and allow your computer to boot via the CD-R. If it does not you will need to change the boot priority in the BIOS settings.

  Perform a full system scan via the CD. This will find infections that may be prone to hiding inside Windows when Windows boots normally.

  Once the scanning process is complete, reboot your computer and remove the CD-R from your CD/DVD burner.

  Restart Windows, and your computer should now be free of the AntiVir Solution Pro anti-virus program.
