Shut the Satellite A75-S211 down, disconnect all cables and close the display. Turn the Satellite A75-S211 over and remove the battery.

Unscrew the Phillips-head screw on the edge of the L-shaped panel between the two circular fan vents. Remove the panel and set it aside. The two Satellite A75-S211 memory modules are positioned in an overlapping configuration in the longer side of the L-shaped compartment. If you are installing a second memory module and retaining the existing one, skip to step four.

Pull the retaining clips on the sides of the top memory module apart until the module rises above the clips. Remove the Satellite A75-S211 memory module from the socket, and then remove the bottom memory module in the same fashion if needed.

Insert a new module into the bottom Satellite A75-S211 socket if you are replacing both modules, or the top socket if you are retaining the existing module and adding a second one. Place the bottom of the module into the socket first, while holding the top of the module above the clips. Push the module down until the clips snap around it. Install the second new module into the top socket if needed.

Place the L-shaped cover back over the memory compartment and replace the Phillips-head screw.
