How to Upgrade Your Treo 750 to Windows

The Palm Treo 750 comes standard with Windows Mobile. A free upgrade is available from the Windows Mobile website, which allows users to access all the features of the newer operating system without purchasing a new phone. With the upgrade for Windows Mobile, the user can be sure to be getting the most out of the Treo 750.

  Go to the Windows Mobile Upgrade page. (See Resources.)

  Select the desired version (Standard or Professional) and click "Download." The download will begin immediately. Open the file when the download is complete and follow the instructions on the installation wizard.

  Open ActiveSync on the computer. If ActiveSync is not installed on the computer, a free download is available from the ActiveSync website. (See Resources.)

  Plug the Treo 750 into the computer using the USB cable. The installation of the new software will begin immediately.

  Restart the phone after the installation is complete. The operating system of the Treo 750 is now upgraded and ready to use.
