How to Use Speed Dial on a P168

The CECT P168 is a multimedia phone similar to an iPhone. The China Electronic Custom Telecom Co., or CECT, is a Chinese-based mobile phone provider that specializes in making clones of popular phones. Like the iPhone, the P168 can perform numerous functions, including sending emails and text messages. The phone also features speed dialing, which allows you to quickly dial contacts you frequently call with the press of a button. You can select up to six contacts to program on the P168's speed dial function.

  Tap the "Menu" key while on the home screen of the CECT P168. Select "Settings" and tap "Phone Setup."

  Select "Speed Dial" from the list of options. If the speed dial option is turned to "Off," switch it to "On."

  Tap "Set Number" and select an empty field. An empty field is indicated by a blank following the numbered speed dial location.

  Select a number from your list of contacts to fill the empty field. Continue to select numbers for the empty speed dial locations. Exit when finished to the phone's home screen.

  Dial a speed dial number by holding down the number associated with the contact.
