IT Policy: How to Disable Yahoo on a Blackberry

Blackberry is a cell phone manufacturer that includes a Blackberry operating system on each of its devices. Blackberries are used by businesses and individuals for their ability to keep their users in touch by phone, text and e-mail. While a Blackberry has a default email address associated with each device, it also permits the user to add Internet email accounts, such as a Yahoo! email account, to the device. If a situation arises where you no longer wish to utilize a Yahoo! email address on your Blackberry, it is also possible to disable the Yahoo! account on the device.

  Turn on your Blackberry.

  Use the trackball to navigate to the "Email Setup" icon, then press the trackball to select it.
