Specifications of the HP Color LaserJet CP2025n

• Hewlett-Packard's color LaserJet CP2025n produces both color and monochromatic printouts using laser print technology. The printer comes with a limited one-year warranty from HP as well as an installation CD, Getting Started Guide, the printer's user guide on the installation CD, power cable and the printer's black, magenta, cyan and yellow toner cartridges.

Print Performance

• The color LaserJet CP225n can produce its first black and white page printout from standby in as little as 17.2 seconds. The printer can produce the first color printout page in as little as 17.7 seconds. Once the first page has printed, the CP2025n can print as many as 21 black and white or color pages per minute. The printer produces printouts with a resolution of 600 by 600 dots per inch (dpi) both in black and white and color printouts. HP recommends a monthly printout volume averaging between 750 and 2,000 pages, with a monthly maximum of 40,000 pages.

Hardware and Electrical

• The LaserJet CP2025n measures 15.9 inches wide and 12.7 inches tall. The printer's depth varies from 17.9 inches to 25.9 inches, depending whether the printer's trays are fully extended. The printer weighs 50 pounds. The printer has a USB port as well as a 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet port in its rear. The CP2025n comes with 128 megabytes of memory installed, but the printer supports up to 384 megabytes of memory. The printer consumes .48 watts when it is turned off, 6.7 watts when it is in sleep mode, 18 watts when it is in ready mode but idle and 445 watts while it is printing.

Paper Handling

• The printer comes with two standard paper trays. One holds up to 250 pages, and the other is a multi-purpose tray that holds up to 50 pages. An optional tray that holds up to 250 pages is available. The printer comes with one output tray, which has a capacity of 150 pages. The LaserJet CP2025n can handle brochure paper, bond paper, photo paper, plain paper, glossy paper, preprinted paper, rough paper, recycled paper, prepunched paper, transparencies, label sheets and envelopes. The CP2025n's paper tray 1 can handle media in the following sizes: letter, legal, executive, 8.5 inches by 13 inches, 5 inches by 8 inches, 4 inches by 6 inches, 3 inches by 5 inches, No. 10 envelopes and Monarch envelopes. Paper trays 2 and 3 can handle all the same media except that which is 3 inches by 5 inches.
