Serve the tennis ball by flicking the Wii Remote up towards the ceiling or pressing "A" on the remote. Flick it down towards the floor to hit the ball. If you wait until the ball is hanging in the air to flick the remote down, you will perform a power serve.

Move your character using the joystick located on the nunchuk controller. Pressing it forward will cause your character to move forward on the court. Press it left to move left, right to move right, and back to move your character backwards.

Swing the Wii remote right to left to perform a forehand stroke if you are right-handed.

Swing the Wii remote left to right to perform a backhand stroke if you are right-handed.

Twist your wrist clockwise or counter-clockwise while performing a forehand or backstroke to add spin to the ball. This can cause the ball to move in a direction your opponent may not be expecting.

Lift the remote upwards, without forward movement, to perform a lob.

Swing the remote in a forward arc from top to bottom when the ball passes over your Mii's head to perform a smash.

Wii Tennis Instructions
In Wii Tennis you play tennis against either a computer-controlled or player-controlled competitor. By manipulating the Wii remote and nunchuk controller, you can perform a variety of tennis strokes and move your character around the tennis court. Up to four people can play Wii Tennis at once, but a separate Wii remote controller is required for each player.
