Yamaha 225 3-Wheeler Specs

    • The 1984 Yamaha 225 Tri-Moto came equipped with a four-stroke, air-cooled engine with a displacement of 223 cc, a bore and stroke of 2.76 inches by 2.28 inches, and a compression ratio of 8.8-to-one. It had a max torque of 12.2 feet-pounds at 5,500 rpm. It also featured a five-speed automatic transmission, a Mikuni VM24 carburetor, and an electric starting system with recoil backup.

    Suspension, Brakes and Wheels

    • Drum brakes came standard on the front of the 1984 225, with enclosed disk brakes in the rear. The bike also featured a telescopic fork front suspension and a mono shock rear suspension system. The front wheel and rear wheels were all 22 by 11 by 8 inches in size.
