How to Add an IOMEGA External Hard Drive to VMware Workstation 6.5.1
VMware enables you to run multiple operating systems in a virtual environment without affecting your main one. This includes virtualizing hardware and sharing it between different VMware images. If you have an IOMEGA external hard drive it's possible for a VMware image to use it (as if it were connected to it physically). Information stored on the IOMEGA is like that of any other saved on an external drive; you can distribute it by plugging the drive into different systems.
