How to Install Windows Mobile 6 on a PDA

Windows Mobile is an operating system for mobile smartphones and PDAs created by Microsoft. The Windows Mobile 6 operating system was released in 2007 as a follow-up to Windows Mobile 5 and boasts improved stability from previous versions of the OS. It also includes enhanced visual features, search functions, VoIP support and more.

  Download Windows Mobile 6 (see Resources).

  Launch the Windows Mobile 6 installation files on your computer. Click "Run." Follow the on-screen prompts.

  Connect your PDA to your computer with a USB cable. Select "Sync." Allow the installation to complete. Reboot your mobile device. You are now running Windows Mobile 6.
