How to Prevent Windows Genuine Advantage

For Windows XP users, the Windows Genuine Advantage tool can be far less advantageous than its name implies. The tool monitors a user's system to check if the user has a legal copy of the operating system. In the process, it can consume massive amounts of system resources and significantly slow down your computer. If Windows has not already installed the Genuine Advantage tool on your computer, you can prevent its installation entirely, saving system resources and avoiding frequent pop-up windows.
