Wear safety glasses, ear plugs and work gloves. Put your hair up so it won't become caught in the motor, if you have long hair. Also, choose long pants instead of shorts. Leaf blowers can stir up dust and dirt, and you want your eyes and skin protected.

Check the fuel level. If extra fuel is needed, mix a ratio of 50 parts gasoline to one part oil. You need to mix the gas and oil together, or you will damage the internal engine parts. Use Husqvarna oil made for cooled 2-cycle gasoline engines.

Start the Husqvarna leaf blower close to the area where you intend on using it. Pick the place where you want the leaves blown to, and then go to the opposite side. Leaf blowers are powerful, but they will not move a large amount of leaves. If that is the case, you may need to have several piles for your leaves.

Aim the blower nozzle down and away from you. Move the nozzle back and forth as you walk forward. Blow the leaves down the path to the designated area.

How to Use Your Husqvarna Leaf Blower
Husqvarna leaf blowers are wonderful tools for cleaning up your yards, and moving leaves, grass clippings or dirt from sidewalks, decks, driveways or gutters. Husqvarna manufactures different leaf blowers. Some are hand-held and others are worn on your back. The speed of the air flow varies from model to model, but they range from 130 to 198 miles per hour. Leaf blowers are lightweight and easy to use for the average homeowner.
