VCR/DVD TV Installation

A VCR/DVD TV combo is one way to reduce the components for your home theater system. All its functions are controlled with a single remote and the only external wires needed are to hook it up for cable, satellite or to a TV antenna.

Location

• Place your VCR/DVD TV in a location near a power outlet and your cable wire, satellite wire or TV antenna. Try to avoid an area where it will receive direct sunlight.

Connect the Wires

• Connect the coaxial wire or RCA wires from your TV antenna, cable service or satellite service into the back of your VCR/DVD TV.

Program Your Channels

• Turn on your TV, and press "Menu" on your remote control. Navigate to "Channel" and select the type of reception you are receiving. Run the channel programming and wait for the process to complete.

Personalize Recording and Playback

• Go to the main menu, and select "VCR" to personalize the recording settings. Navigate to the main menu, and select "DVD" to change your preferences on any playback settings.
