The 1986 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 was a midsize cruising motorcycle that premiered a year earlier, in 1985. It was one of several midsize cruisers that found lots of buyers for its general likeability: The 1986 Vulcan's low riding profile and standard chrome engine components gave it a pleasing appearance; and updated performance parts like rubber engine mounts and liquid-cooling technology made it easier to ride. The improved engine mounts were particularly important for reducing engine vibration during operation. This increased engine life and rider comfort.
