2001 Land Yacht Specs

    • In 2001, Airstream produced two different Land Yacht models, a 30-foot and a 33-foot motor home. The models were similar except for their size. Both had 75 gallon fuel tanks and 60 gallon water tanks and an exterior height of 122 inches. Both Land Yachts were capable of towing up to 3,000 pounds of additional weight.

    Driver Area

    • The driver's compartment of the 2001 Land Yacht featured either leather or vinyl seating with swivel and reclining driver and passenger seats. A privacy/blackout curtain could be retracted to separate the driver from the passengers. The driver's door had power windows, and the driver's compartment had separate air conditioner controls.

    Exterior

    • The exterior of the 2001 Land Yacht was "Nu White" with decal options. The side entrance door had a screen. There was a 17-foot retractable awning to create a patio. The mirrors were heated for winter driving.

    Interior Decor

    • All of the cabinets in the 2001 Land Yacht had an oak finish and brass hardware. The counter tops were laminated with oak edges. The lounge and dinette area had oak hardwood tables. The lounge seat had removable armrests and could convert to a bed.

    Bedroom

    • The bedroom featured an Innerspring queen-sized bed with a bedspread and pillows included. There were two cedar-lined wardrobes with lights, and a shirt closet with mirror doors. Some models came with a twin bed.

    Bathroom

    • The bathroom in the 2001 Land Yacht featured a "water saver" toilet and one-piece fiberglass hall shower with a pivoting shower head. The bathroom had chrome or brass fixtures, an included towel rack and soap dish.

    Appliances

    • The 2001 Land Yacht was fully equipped for every-day living. It had a three-burner cooking surface, a convection microwave, eight cubic-foot refrigerator, a six gallon gas/electric hot water heater, a 34,000 BTU furnance, two air conditioners, two televisions (19-inch in dash, 13-inch in bedroom) with external antenna, a cable hookup and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
