  • History

    • Atria Networks is the result of a merger in 2005 between two telecom companies: FibreTech Technologies and FibreWired Guelph. Birch Hill Equity Partners purchased Atria Networks in 2006 and acquired SCBN Telecommunications Inc. in 2007. Atria Networks continued to acquire telecom companies in 2008 and 2009, including the fiber-optic assets of Peterborough Utilities Company.

    Function

    • The company provides fiber-optic Internet connection for businesses. Their standard speed delivered through Ethernet interfaces is 1,000 Mpbs. Atria enables businesses to expand by providing sufficient bandwidth which has the capability to transfer data at high speeds.
