Brands of Chippers

      Wood chippers are tools that are commonly used to make a gardening experience much easier and more organized. Chippers are used to break down branches from trees into tiny chips, which are suited for the composting and mulching processes. Chippers also can be used for acorns and pine cones. For gardeners, many different varieties of brands exist for chippers.

    • Vermeer Midwest is the name of a brand that manufactures brush chippers that aim to increase efficiency, safety and productivity. Some of the benefits that are provided by Vermeer Midwest chippers include feed tables that are extra long, which raise feed distances to increase safety; bottom feed stop bars, which permit operators, in emergencies, to stop infeed; and smart feed, which feeds branches automatically while simultaneously monitoring and adjusting RPM settings. The brand produces six different types of brush chippers, which are beneficial for all types of users.

    • Wallenstein is a commercial garden and lawn equipment company that produces wood chippers, such as its BXT 4213 chipper. The chipper is suitable for on-the-move wood chipping as it is compact and can easily pick up and move anywhere with ease. The wood chipper is particularly useful and convenient for maintaining clean and organized job sites. Some notable features of the chipper are air vents, an adjustable chute, hydraulic feed hopper, self-feeding hopper, mounting configurations and blower paddles (for twig breaking).
