Carburetor Vs. Fuel Injected

There are advantages and disadvantages to both the carburetor and the fuel injector for car enthusiasts to consider when selecting which to use on their next project. Both control fuel supply to the engine. By carefully examining the differences, the correct choice can be made.

Fuel Efficiency

Simplicity

Cost

• Even high performance carburetors can be bought for less than a fuel injection system. However, buyers should consider fuel costs over the life of the vehicle and the savings that a fuel injection system could bring.
