Keep the watch exposed to bright light, especially at first, to allow the solar cell to receive sunlight and generate the solar power into energy for the watch. Wear the watch outside of the sleeve as much as possible and place it near an open window near bright light when you are not wearing it.

Specify the home city for the watch by pressing the left button on the bottom of the watch until the city code flashes. Perform a manual time signal reception by placing the watch in the windowsill with 12:00 facing the window. Allow up to 15 minutes for the watch to manually receive a time signal from one of the worldwide atomic clocks. Once set, the watch will automatically receive a time signal at least once a day.
