To plan a birthday date for your boyfriend, consider his interests and passions first. Instead of opting for traditional dinner and a movie, mark this date as one to remember by making it more intimate, fun and nontraditional.

Sporting Events

• Get tickets to the game. If your guy is a sports fanatic, this is a no-brainer. Check his schedule and plan in advance to get the best seats. Leave a trail of rose petals leading up to the tickets to surprise him. Entice anticipation for the date by gearing yourself up in team apparel. As a gift, have his favorite team jersey or hat waiting for him. On the date, show team spirit even if you are not into sports or if the team playing is not your favorite.
