Dfi P2xbl Specifications

• The DFI P2XBL was a computer motherboard produced by the Taiwanese manufacturer Diamond Flower, Inc. This company was founded in 1981 as a graphics card manufacturer but switched to producing motherboards in 1992. The DFI P2XBL was first released in 1999 and would now be considered old technology as its compatibility is limited to older Intel processors.

Processor

• The DFI P2XBL uses a 242-pin, Slot 1 type CPU connector. This is physically and electronically compatible with a range of Intel microprocessors, depending on the external CPU speed. At a speed of 66 megahertz, the motherboard is compatible with an Intel Pentium II or Intel Celeron processor with a speed of between 233 and 333 megahertz. At a speed of 100 megahertz, it is compatible with an Intel Pentium II processor with a speed of between 300 and 450 megahertz or any Intel Pentium III model processor.

Chipset

• The DFI P2XBL uses an Intel 440BX AGP chipset that features an accelerated graphics port. This interface is designed to support high-performance graphics cards and supports a bandwidth of up to 533 megabytes per second for 3D graphics applications.

Memory

• The DFI P2XBL has three 168-pin Dual In-line Memory Module sockets that support unbuffered PC SDRAM memory with either PC-66 or PC-100 standards, depending on the speed of the CPU installed.

BIOS

• The DFI P2XBL uses 1995 Award BIOS that is plug-and-play compatible. This is stored on an erasable programmable ROM chip for easy BIOS upgrades.
