Keyboard carrying cases and gig bags are designed to protect your musical instrument while it's in transit and storage. There are plenty of different brands of keyboard carry case on the market: some are hard-shell, while others are lightweight.

SKB Cases is a company that specializes in heavyweight carry cases for maximum protection. SKB gig cases are rotationally molded from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). SKB also prides itself on developing keyboard cases for use overseas. The cases have latches that can be quickly and easily opened and closed for airport inspection.

Gator Cases specializes in hard-set carry cases made from "nearly indestructible polyethylene construction." Well-known keyboard maker Casio offers a number of carrying cases that can fit a variety of its keyboard shapes and sizes. For example, its Privia gig bag is tailored for the Casio PX-110, PX-310 and the PX-555.
