Directions for the Tungsten Palm

The Tungsten Palm Handheld helps you organize appointments, store addresses, surf the Internet, e-mail and instant message. You can also create and store to-do lists.

Tapping

  Remove the stylus from the Tungsten Palm Handheld.

• 2

  Position the handheld with the display screen facing up. Use the stylus to lightly tap on the display screen to activate it. Tapping the screen works similar to a mouse click on a computer.

  Select an application to load by clicking on the application icon with the stylus.

  Return the stylus to the storage compartment when finished.

Creating Address Book Entry

  Press the address book button at the bottom of the front of the Tungsten. This will open the address book application.

  Use the stylus and tap on "New" at the bottom of the address book screen.

  Use the keyboard at the bottom of the device to enter the last name of the person you're adding to the address book.

  Tap on the "First Name" field with the stylus and enter the first name of the person with the keys.

  Tap on the other fields as desired and include any other information you want stored for that address book listing. Use the stylus to tap on "Done" at the bottom of the screen to save the new listing.

Web Browser

  Open the web browser by pressing the button at the bottom right corner of the Tungsten that resembles a spinning world.

  Tap on the "Open URL" icon that resembles a world on the display screen with the stylus.

  Use the keys at the bottom to type in the web address you desire.

  Tap on "Go" on the bottom of the web address entry window. The Tungsten will begin navigating to the web page.
