    • Ford has built itself as a brand that produces high quality, durable vehicles. With more than a century of experience, they have introduced models that can survive almost any kind of terrain. In 1993, Ford launched their Ford Special Vehicle Team to further develop special-performance vehicles. One of these vehicles was the Ford F-150 Lightning. In 1998, they also introduced their Super Duty pickup trucks to cater to consumers who require vehicles for heavy-duty workloads.

    2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor

    • The 2010 Ford F-150 4x4 SVT Raptor is equipped with a 5.4L V8 engine that delivers 310 horsepower at 5,000 rpm, and a torque of 365 foot-pounds at 3,500 rpm. The optional 6.2L V-8 engine delivers a total of 411 horsepower and 434 foot-pounds of torque. Standard transmission is a six-speed automatic with overdrive and tow haul mode, and its maximum towing capacity is 6,000 pounds. The Raptor comes standard with a custom suspension developed by Fox Racing Shox with 11.2 inches of front travel and 13.4 inches of rear travel. It's also equipped with Ford's AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control system for better traction control and stability. A Ford F-150 SVT Raptor costs around $38,000 to $46,000 as of 2010.

    Ranger Sport SuperCab

    • The 2010 Ford Ranger 4x4 Sport SuperCab is equipped with a 4.0L V6 engine with 201 horsepower at 5,250 rpm, and a torque of 238 foot-pounds at 3,000 rpm. Its maximum towing capacity is 3,140 pounds. It comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission with overdrive, while a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. Ford's AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control comes standard, as well as a front torsion bar for better stability. A 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel V8 Engine with 350 horsepower and 650 foot-pounds of torque is an optional power train. It also comes standard with heavy-duty gas shock absorbers, a front stabilizer bar and tire-pressure monitoring system. Traction control is an upgrade option. A Super Duty F350 Cabela's is about $43,800 as of 2010.
